HOW TO AVOID CRACKS

Even though cracks are part of concrete jobs, there are certain processes that can be taken to try to prevent cracking:

1. Placement of sand , select fill or other stabilized material under concrete.
2. Compaction of the surface with a plate compactor.
3. Expansion joints (help try to predict where concrete can crack).
4. Rebar

Also, when pouring try to avoid placing too much water in concrete: a slump 5-6 Is usually a good mix , than can be worked easily.
